· Supported technology strategic planning in the areas of cleanup, compliance, conservation, pollution prevention, global environmental change, and energy conservation/renewal resources for the DoD/DOE/EPA Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP).
· Participated in environmental analyses in compliance, pollution, and environmental and land use planning for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence.
Corporate Fellowship Program, Novgorod, Russia; Funded by the US Department of Education (June 2-August 4, 1997
· Translated an EPA pamphlet on Radon into Russian. This was to be able to inform the Novgorod region about the problems that could arise from the radon pollution that exists there.
· Prepared a seminar for Russian and Indiana Companies.

· Researched EISs for extensions granted for impact period of alternatives to the proposed actions.

· Developed environmental solutions for water contamination problems.
· Tested soil and water samples (collected around storage tanks or from rivers) for oil, chemical, and heavy metal contamination.
